Crystal Saffron

Saffron, mostly on its own. Clean musk opens it, the saffron arrives within a minute — dry and faintly medicinal rather than the leathery saffron most houses build — and ambroxan and incense close it with a salty, lightly smoky persistence. The note list is four items long and the composition is exactly as spare as that suggests.

Seven to nine hours on skin, with moderate projection for the first two and a close skin scent after. The ambroxan is what carries it — it is the most tenacious thing in the formula, and the saffron rides on top of it for most of the wear.
