EuroItalia
Versace batch codes, explained
Versace fragrances are made by EuroItalia, near Milan, which has held the licence since 2005 and renewed it to 2036; the Prada Group's purchase of Versace in December 2025 did not change that. Versace codes come in more than one layout, and the recent seven-character ones look like nothing else on this site. None of them is published, so this page tells you where to look and what to compare, and leaves the date alone.
We do not return a date for Versace. Enter a code and we will tell you exactly why, and what to check instead.

Fragrances from other houses are picked because they share main accords with the best-known Versace fragrances. They are different perfumes, not copies.
Where Versace prints the code
On a recent Versace Pour Homme the same code is printed on the box, on a white label beside the barcode and a square Data Matrix, and engraved on the glass under the bottle, as its owner reports. Older bottles carry it on the box flap and the base.
What the characters mean
More than one layout. Recent bottles reported to us carry seven characters — three digits, two letters, a digit and a letter, as in 324FP9C and 087FC7C. Older ones carry two letters and four digits (DE2105, EO1910), and other shapes turn up. EuroItalia publishes no date encoding.
Why we stop there:
EuroItalia publishes nothing about its codes, and the bottles we have seen use at least two unrelated layouts. A rule fitted to one would misread the other, and none of the codes has a second field to check a reading against.
Versace batch code questions
Does the Prada takeover change Versace batch codes?
Not so far. Prada bought the Versace fashion house, but the fragrances are made under a licence that EuroItalia holds until 2036, and no change to it has been announced. Bottles are filled by the same company in the same place, so there is no reason for the codes to change.
My Eros code looks nothing like a friend's — is one of them fake?
Not on that evidence. Versace codes have used more than one layout over the years — two letters and four digits on older bottles, seven characters mixing digits and letters on recent ones — so two genuine bottles bought years apart can look quite different. Compare each bottle with its own box instead.
Can a Versace batch code prove the bottle is real?
No. Fakes exist and often reuse real codes, so a code can raise a flag but never clear a bottle. A mismatch between box and bottle codes is a warning sign, not proof. Buying from an authorised retailer is the only check the brands themselves endorse.

Try it before you commit
Checking a batch code is usually a way of asking whether a bottle is worth the money. A decant answers that on your own skin, poured from a bottle whose source we log — no marketplace gamble, no full-bottle regret.
