Nishane batch codes, explained
Nishane was the first niche house to come out of Turkey, founded in Istanbul in 2012, and it reached serious volume faster than almost anyone else in the category. Hacivat in particular sells well enough to be counterfeited, which is why people arrive here with a code in hand. Six digits and no published key is not much to work with, and we would rather say that than dress up a guess.

What the characters mean
A six-digit numeric reference. Nishane publishes no date encoding.
Why we stop there: An independent house with no published encoding and a purely numeric code that offers no internal structure to reason about — no letter marking a month, no second field to check a first against. There is nothing here we could verify even in principle without bottles of known date.

Is Hacivat commonly faked?
It is among the more counterfeited niche fragrances, which follows from being both widely wanted and widely known. The tells are physical: cap weight and fit, the crispness of the printing on the box, and the evenness of the atomiser spray. Where you bought it matters more than any of them.
Does Nishane use the same code across a whole production run?
We cannot tell you, and that is the honest answer. With one bottle per fragrance in front of us we have no way to see whether two bottles of the same scent differ — which is exactly the comparison that would reveal whether the number tracks a batch or a product.
How well do the Extrait concentrations age?
Better than most. Nishane works at high concentration with heavy amber, incense and woody materials, and those are stable in the bottle. Ege and the resinous entries in particular are the sort of composition where a few years does little. Heat and light remain the real enemies.
