Azzaro moved into L'Oréal's fragrance operation relatively recently, and its bottles now carry the group's year letter. Bottles from before the move do not, and will not read here. Worth knowing rather than working around: a code that refuses to decode on this page is far more likely to be an older Azzaro than a counterfeit one.

The Most Wanted and Wanted are different fragrances — does the code tell them apart?
Not reliably, and this is a common source of confusion when buying. The Wanted family has several flankers with similar names and similar bottles. Read the front of the bottle and the box text rather than trying to infer the version from the production code.
How long does an Azzaro parfum concentration keep?
The heavier concentrations keep well — they lean on amber, tonka and woody materials that are stable in the bottle. Stored away from heat and light, several years is unremarkable. The lighter Chrome-style aquatics are the ones where age shows sooner.
Can a batch code tell me if I bought from a grey-market seller?
No, and this is worth being clear about. A code records a production run, not a distribution route. Genuine stock sold outside authorised channels carries entirely normal codes. What you lose buying that way is recourse and storage history, neither of which the code reports.
