Xerjoff

Xerjoff batch code checker

Xerjoff publishes nothing about its coding, and the largest commercial decoder says openly that it has not managed to reverse-engineer it. We give you the year and stop there. The year digits are the one part that behaves: across every Xerjoff code we have seen, from our own bottles and from examples published elsewhere, they take only values consistent with recent production. The three digits before them look temptingly like a day of the year, and we will not present them as one.

Free, no signup, nothing stored. Codes are read in your browser session and never saved against you.

Where Xerjoff prints the code

On the base of the bottle and on the box; some lines carry it on a seal sticker.

What the characters mean

Six or seven characters: an optional line letter, a three-digit production run, two year digits, then a fill-line letter.

Worked example

27821N

reads as 2021

Xerjoff batch code questions

Do all Xerjoff lines use the same packaging codes?

No. Casamorati, Oud Stars and the main Xerjoff line differ in bottle format, sealing and labelling, and their production references are not interchangeable. That is a large part of why a single Xerjoff decoder cannot work.

How should I verify a Xerjoff bottle?

Check the cap — genuine Xerjoff caps are noticeably heavy and machined, and sit with no play. Inspect the gold-work on Casamorati labels for print sharpness, confirm the box and bottle codes agree, and buy through an authorised stockist.

Does Naxos age well?

Yes. Naxos is a tobacco, honey and lavender composition dominated by base and heart materials that are stable in the bottle. Age is not the main threat to it — heat and light are.

Try Xerjoff before you commit

Checking a batch code is usually a way of asking whether a bottle is worth the money. A Xerjoff decant answers that on your own skin, poured from a bottle whose source we log — no marketplace gamble, no full-bottle regret.
