Shipping to Portugal
Despite being the furthest west we ship, Portugal is not a slow route: parcels go from Pošta Slovenije's international exchange in Ljubljana straight to CTT's in Lisbon, usually within a working day or two, and CTT delivers from there. If nobody is home, CTT leaves a notice and holds the parcel at a nearby Ponto CTT pickup point for several days. Madeira and the Azores add an island leg on top of the mainland figure.
What it costs to ship to Portugal
The same rate as every other EU destination, near or far. Distance changes how long it takes, never what it costs.

How long it takes, and how we know
The first part is ours: we dispatch within 24 hours, and we measure it rather than assume it — every order is timed, and the median from placing an order to handing it to Pošta Slovenije is 1 business day. Decants are poured to order, so that time is the pouring, labelling and packing — not a shelf.
The second part is the carrier’s, and for Portugal we report what actually happened rather than what was promised: measured on our own tracked deliveries, the median transit is 4 business days, the fastest 2 business days and the slowest 5 business days.
Both figures are business days. Weekends are not transit, and an order placed on a Saturday is poured on the Monday.
Who carries it
We hand the parcel to Pošta Slovenije, who carry it out of Slovenia and pass it to CTT for the last leg inside Portugal. One tracking number covers both halves: the link in your dispatch email follows it the whole way, and CTT’s own tracking site will recognise the same number once the parcel enters their network.
CTT runs pickup points and parcel lockers, and will normally divert a parcel to the nearest one rather than return it if nobody is home. A decant is small enough that a locker is never a problem.
Delivery to Portugal — questions
Is Madeira or the Azores treated differently?
Not for customs — both are part of the EU customs and VAT territory, unlike Spain's Canaries, so there are no import charges. They do add several days: the parcel reaches mainland Portugal first and then goes on by air or sea, so treat the mainland estimate as a starting point rather than a total.
How much is shipping to Portugal?
Tracked delivery to Portugal costs 4.95 € on any order, then free over 39 €. Every order is tracked, and the price at checkout is the whole cost — there are no customs charges or handling fees inside the EU.
How long does delivery to Portugal take?
Typically 3–6 business days from order to doorstep. That is measured from parcels we have actually delivered there, not a carrier estimate — we decant and dispatch, Pošta Slovenije carries it, and CTT makes the final delivery.
