Shipping to Switzerland
Schweiz / Suisse / Svizzera
Switzerland is the one destination we serve outside the EU customs union, so the parcel travels with a customs declaration and clears Swiss customs before Die Post delivers it, which is why its estimate is wider than its neighbours'. In practice most decant orders arrive with nothing to pay: Swiss import VAT is not collected when the amount due would come to less than CHF 5, which at the 8.1% rate covers goods worth roughly CHF 60. A larger order does not, and that is worth knowing before you build one. Prices stay in euros; your card converts at checkout.
What it costs to ship to Switzerland
The same rate as every other EU destination, near or far. Distance changes how long it takes, never what it costs.

How long it takes, and how we know
The first part is ours: we dispatch within 24 hours, and we measure it rather than assume it — every order is timed, and the median from placing an order to handing it to Pošta Slovenije is 1 business day. Decants are poured to order, so that time is the pouring, labelling and packing — not a shelf.
The second part is the carrier’s: Die Post / La Poste Suisse and Pošta Slovenije between them quote 4–8 business days for this route. That is their estimate, not our measurement — we say so rather than dressing it up, and every parcel is tracked, so you can follow it the whole way.
Both figures are business days. Weekends are not transit, and an order placed on a Saturday is poured on the Monday.
Who carries it
We hand the parcel to Pošta Slovenije, who carry it out of Slovenia and pass it to Die Post / La Poste Suisse for the last leg inside Switzerland. One tracking number covers both halves: the link in your dispatch email follows it the whole way, and Die Post / La Poste Suisse’s own tracking site will recognise the same number once the parcel enters their network.
Die Post / La Poste Suisse runs pickup points and parcel lockers, and will normally divert a parcel to the nearest one rather than return it if nobody is home. A decant is small enough that a locker is never a problem.
Delivery to Switzerland — questions
Will I have to pay anything when it arrives?
Usually nothing. Switzerland waives import VAT when the tax due would be under CHF 5, which covers a decant order up to about CHF 60 in goods — most of ours. Above that, Die Post collects the VAT along with its own clearance fee at the door, and neither is something we can prepay or add to the checkout total. If your basket is near the line, two smaller orders cost less than one that crosses it.
How much is shipping to Switzerland?
Tracked delivery to Switzerland costs 4.95 € on any order, then free over 49 €. Every order is tracked, and because this destination is outside the EU customs union, import VAT and a carrier clearance fee may be charged on delivery — those are set by your country, not by us.
How long does delivery to Switzerland take?
Typically 4–9 business days from order to doorstep: our own dispatch time, which we measure, plus the carrier's published transit estimate. Pošta Slovenije carries the parcel and Die Post / La Poste Suisse makes the final delivery.
