l’homme intense is the prada i actually wear. the original l’homme always sat a bit cold and sterile on me — something in the drydown. the intense version has the same iris backbone but with enough amber and leather to warm it up. safe pick but executed well. takes about 20 minutes to get where it’s going, so don’t judge it off the spray.

L’Homme Intense is one of those rare cases where the “intense” flanker is actually better than the base. Iris, amber, a little leather. Smells very put-together, like you bothered to pick a fragrance instead of grabbing whatever was on the bathroom shelf. Slight knock: it can read a little old on me in summer.
