Xerjoff's Alexandria II opens with palisander rosewood, lavender and cinnamon, with a touch of apple for sweetness. It is aromatic and warmly spiced from the first spray rather than fresh.
Rose, cedar and lily-of-the-valley form the heart, rounding the spice into something softer and slightly powdery. Chris Maurice composed it for Xerjoff in 2012 for the Oud Stars collection. It is a Parfum, in glass that shades from deep red-brown to clear at the base, with a gold X plaque and a tall gold cap.
Oud, sandalwood, amber, vanilla and musk make up the dry-down: woody, resinous and sweet. Fragrantica voters rank winter and autumn well ahead of spring, with summer far behind, and choose night more than twice as often as day, so it suits cold weather, evenings and dinners.

What does Xerjoff Alexandria II smell like?
Xerjoff Alexandria II is a spiced woody oud, a Parfum launched in 2012 in Xerjoff's Oud Stars collection.
