l’homme intense does a very nice first act — that iris-amber combination in the opening is clean and interesting. by the third hour on me the drydown goes in a more powdery direction that veers slightly soapy, which i don’t love. might just be my skin chemistry. the office-safe crowd-pleaser box it ticks is a strong one though. not my signature but i keep reaching for it on days when i need to look like i put some thought in.
